Designing and manufacturing Passenger Boarding Bridges and associated gate equipment is our core business rather than a sideline, a fact that we believe makes us specialists as well as a local/regional company. We are also Australasia’s only manufacturer of aerobridges and GSE equipment.

Our Passenger Boarding Bridges and our other products are manufactured by Wellington-based J&D McLennan, of which we are a subsidiary, at one of the largest and most comprehensively equipped engineering shops in the region.

Over the years, its floor space has doubled and capabilities have increased with the introduction of new and larger overhead cranage and heavy machining. We can process steel – to plasma, gas cut, bend, crop or cold saw all the steel components required to fabricate an aerobridge. And because we are less and less reliant on outside suppliers we can schedule component manufacture and delivery when we need it. This provides extra flexibility since we dictate when components are made rather than being dictated to by external suppliers. Total control that also ensures maximum quality control.

Our long-term mutual relationship with JBTC Jetway also gives us access to its engineering, design and process expertise. As manufacturers of their products under license since 1974, our customers have the advantage of a product which has the backing of one of the oldest aerobridge supply companies in the world. We also have the ability to modify and re-engineer Jetway’s designs depending on your requirements or even engineer new components ourselves. We have also provided Jetway with designs making it the perfect two-way, mutually beneficial relationship.
