We design and manufacture blast fences on a case-by-case basis to best suit customers’ specific requirements. Our range of blast fences protect equipment and property from high velocity jet blasts during normal airport operations as well as during engine testing.

We have supplied blast fences to Auckland Airport for use during a major building upgrade. The location in which aircraft engine run-ups were normally carried out was to be put out of use and the most practical replacement area instead was close to other parked aircraft. We were required to provide a relocatable blast protection system that would protect an aircraft directly behind a B777 engine run-up area capable of keeping the jet velocities within a normal specified range. Our solution was a series of eight metre-high fences on reinforced concrete plinths put in place by a forklift.
